Careprost is a medication used for glaucoma, ocular hypertension, and eyelash hypotrichosis. It contains bimatoprost, the same active ingredient found in Latisse and Lumigan, which are approved for use in Japan.
Careprost not only treats glaucoma by reducing intraocular pressure but also improves the overall appearance of eyelashes by promoting their growth (length, thickness, and color intensity). Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in Careprost, is a derivative of prostaglandin, a physiological substance in the body. It enhances the outflow of aqueous humor, the fluid in the eyeball, thereby lowering eye pressure and preventing the worsening of the visual field in glaucoma. It also acts on the hair follicles of the eyelashes, extending their growth phase. Bimatoprost can be used for glaucoma, ocular hypertension, or eyelash hypotrichosis, but the method of application varies depending on the condition. Please use within 30 days after opening. Eye drops can oxidize or become contaminated with airborne bacteria once exposed to air after opening. Do not use any remaining solution after 30 days. However, if unopened, the product can be stored within the expiration date without any issues.

ケアプロストは、緑内障・高眼圧症、および睫毛貧毛症に用いる薬です。
日本国内で承認されているグラッシュビスタ外用液剤、ルミガン点眼液と同一の有効成分であるビマトプロストを含有しています。
 
ケアプロストは、眼内の圧力を下げ緑内障の治療に使用するほか、まつ毛の成長（長さ、豊かさ、色の濃さ）を促進することでまつ毛全体の印象を改善します。
ケアプロストの有効成分であるビマトプロストは、体内の生理的な物質であるプロスタグランジンの誘導体です。
眼球を満たす液体である房水の流出を促進させることで、眼圧を下げ、緑内障における視野の悪化を抑えます。
また、まつ毛の毛包に作用し、毛周期における成長期を延長させます。
ビマトプロストは、緑内障・高眼圧症または、睫毛貧毛症に使用できますが、それぞれの疾患により使用方法が異なります。

開封後は《30日以内》にご使用ください。目薬は開封後の保存状態などにもよりますが、一度開封すると空気に触れることで薬が酸化したり、空気中の雑菌が目薬の中に少しずつ入ってしまうことがあります。30日以上経過した残液は使用しないでください。
尚、未開封の状態では使用期限内の保管は問題ございません。
